Shared Society – Festival time – Jewish & Arab Families together

Parents and family days, and shared Jewish-Arab festival celebrations are held throughout the year for parents and family members together with their children.

Every year there are celebrations for Purim in costume, interclub tennis matches, dinner at dusk on the floodlit courts to celebrate Iftar dinner during Ramadan, when Arab and Jewish families meet and eat together – often for the first time.  Other celebrations feature Mothers’ Day with mothers, sisters, grandmothers and aunts, for tennis games, cakes and teas, and at the end of the year, donuts and candle lighting at Chanukah.
