Tennis Programmes

Jisr az-Zarqa
 Overlookign the sea, noth of Caesarea, Jisr az-Zarqa has several tennis courts of its own.  The first was built in 2002 thanks to a generous donation from the Robert Gavron Charitable Trust.  Starting with a pilot programme in 2016, coaches from the Foundation offer tennis each year as part of the elementary school curriculum.
Built on the grounds of the Al Ghadeer Junior School in 2009, the two courts facility also has three marked out mini-tennis courts.  The project was a 50:50 partnership with the Municipality of Sakhnin and is managed by Tennis Freddie Krivine.  Starting with a pilot programme in 2015, coach at elementary schools in Sakhnin as part of the curriculum.
Daliat el-Carmel
The two-court tennis facility in Daliat el-Carmel is situated in the grounds of From September 2017, four schools (twenty classes) join the Freddie Krivine Foundation morning programme.   
HaGalil (Hand in Hand).
Coaches from the Foundation introduce tennis to 50 Jewish and Arab children during school hours;  the keenest among them participate in our afternoon tennis academy. Hagalil was the first bi-lingual Jewish Arab primary school in Israel. It is situated at Kibbutz Eshbal, close to Sakhnin.
Basmata Taboun & Zarzir
 Supported by the Sports Authority at the Ministry of Culture & Sport and by the Ministry of Education, in September 2017 tennis programmes opened in the Bedouin communities of  Basmat Tivon and Zarzir 
Supported by a former Me'ilya resident, this programme at the elementary school is run by a former ranked junior, Yara Abed, 
Abu Snan & Yarka 
These two projects at communities situated in the north of Israel, are new additions to our nation-wide tennis programme.  They are supported by the schools and municipilatites 
Kafr Qara 
This programme, run by Senior Coach, Mohamad Rashwan, is part of a general after school activity project, encouraging children to broaden their scope of interests, tennis now included.  
Coexistence Projects.
Past inter-school coexistence programmes include:
Haifa Reali – Ossafia; Haifa Reali - Hwaar School; Zichron Ya'akov – Faradeis; Maghrar – Carmiel; Jisr El Zarka – Kibbutz Ma’agen Michael; Kerem Maharal – Faradeis; Sde Boker – Abde; Faradeis – Beit Hananya; Daliat el-Carmel – ITC Yokneam; Jisr az-Zarka – Beit Hananya; Faradeis – Beit Hananya;
The charity provides grants for players to become pro tennis coaches with internationally accredited qualifications, as well as employment opportunities.  Most of the charity's pro coaches are alumni of the tennis programmes.   Travel and coaching grants are offered to promising young players.  For up to date information, contact This email address is being protected from spambots.
